Objectives

The objectives of the event are to:

  1. Provide a backdrop of information for South Africa’s financial sector policy makers and regulators - the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), National Treasury, the Prudential Authority and the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) - to consider when developing and monitoring transition planning related financial sector policies and regulations.

  2. Launch ZeniZeni’s research into the ways in which South Africa’s financial sector is planning for and implementing transition planning to address the net zero transition.
